We are so excited to officially announce the final total for WINGMAN 2026: an incredible, record-breaking $81,719 raised for Wings!
In the sixth year of our annual WINGMAN campaign, our community showed up in an incredible way to support women and children rebuilding their lives after family violence.
To all of our 2026 WINGMEN and WINGMEN teams, THANK YOU! Thank you for lending your voices to this campaign, sharing your stories, raising funds, starting conversations and helping us bring greater awareness to Wings and family violence in our community.
A huge thank you to CanadaOne Auto, Waterloo Ford Lincoln and Freedom Ford for their incredible $40,000 matching gift and continued support of WINGMAN.
Thank you to Kimberley Irvine of Happy Is Photography, who once again captured our WINGMEN so beautifully throughout the campaign, and to Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop for their support of our WINGMEN this year.
We are also so grateful to our Special Events Committee, led by Heather and Sam, for all of the time, energy and work they put in behind the scenes throughout the campaign, and to BrewCo Craft Kitchen & Brewery for hosting our WINGMAN Wrap Party on Friday evening and helping us celebrate an incredible year.
And to every person who donated, shared our posts, supported a WINGMAN, attended an event, followed along or helped spread the word throughout September, thank you.
Thank you for standing with Wings.
About Wings’ Annual WINGMAN Campaign:
Why Wings?
For 40 years, Wings has provided safe housing and wraparound support for women and children rebuilding their lives after family violence.
Families at Wings have access to safe, long-term housing, childcare, counselling, advocacy, food security, health and wellness supports, life skills programming and more as they work toward safety, stability and independence.
Each year, hundreds of women and children access housing and support through Wings.
Why WINGMAN?
WINGMAN was created in 2021 as a way to bring our community together to raise awareness about family violence and help ensure families have the support they need to heal and rebuild. Throughout September, our WINGMEN will be sharing why they chose to get involved, raising awareness within their communities and, for many, hosting their own fundraisers in support of Wings.
In 2025, WINGMAN raised more than $73,000 for women and children at Wings.
Follow WINGMAN Each September
Follow along throughout September as we introduce our WINGMEN, share their stories and fundraisers, and show how our community is coming together to raise awareness and support families at Wings.
