September 1–30, 2026
Throughout September, WINGMEN from across our community are coming together to raise awareness about family violence and critical funds for women and children at Wings.
WINGMAN is Wings’ annual awareness and fundraising campaign, bringing together community leaders, business professionals, teams and advocates who use their voices and networks to support families rebuilding their lives after family violence.
Your Donation Will Go Twice as Far
Thanks to the generous support of CanadaOne Auto, Waterloo Ford Lincoln and Freedom Ford, alll donations made to the 2026 WINGMAN campaign will be matched, up to $40,000.
That means every donation made to WINGMAN between September 1st and 30th will have twice the impact for women and children at Wings.
Why Wings?
For 40 years, Wings has provided safe housing and wraparound support for women and children rebuilding their lives after family violence.
Families at Wings have access to safe, long-term housing, childcare, counselling, advocacy, food security, health and wellness supports, life skills programming and more as they work toward safety, stability and independence.
Each year, hundreds of women and children access housing and support through Wings.
Why WINGMAN?
WINGMAN was created in 2021 as a way to bring our community together to raise awareness about family violence and help ensure families have the support they need to heal and rebuild. Throughout September, our WINGMEN will be sharing why they chose to get involved, raising awareness within their communities and, for many, hosting their own fundraisers in support of Wings.
In 2025, WINGMAN raised more than $73,000 for women and children at Wings.
